OUR JCEO OFFICE IN ELLENBURG IS OPEN MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM, IF YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO HETHER AFTER THESE HOURS PLEASE CALL 518-594-3007

HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program)  - if the program reopens the earliest possible start date is November 17.  The longer the shutdown continues, the further this date will be delayed.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) - As of now November benefits will not be paid

The second Thursday of every month there will be a Zoning Board Meeting at 6:00 PM

The Town is looking for members to join the Zoning /Alternate Energy Board

Dannemora Crossing - A location at the east town line
Ellenburg - Hamlet of Ellenburg the north part of the town on US-11

Community

​Ellenburg has a population of 1890 as of the 2020 census. The town is on the western side of the county and is located northwest of Plattsburgh, NY. The south part of the town is in the Adirondack Park.  Ellenburg is a wonderful place to raise a family.

Northern Adirondack Central School is our local school district.  Which consists of approximately 795 students.
